Betting with ComeOn

What’s better than a sportsbook, or better than an online casino? A site that does both – and thankfully, that’s exactly what ComeOn delivers.

With a good few years of experience behind them, ComeOn has managed to partner with some of the best in show for games and sports betting. For its sportsbook, ComeOn’s platform is provided by the industry giant, SBTech. The live casino is underpinned by Evolution and NetEnt, and the casino games come from a selection of greats including NetEnt, Microgaming, Betsoft, Play’n Go, Thunderkick, NYX, OS Casino, Playtech, Nolimit City, WMS.

There are four separate areas of the site that players can navigate between in the lobby – casino, live casino, sports and live betting, but for this review we’ll just be focusing on its sportsbook.

As well as a fully mobile-optimised site, ComeOn also has an app, which can be downloaded on Android and iOS devices.

In addition to its game selection, ComeOn also offers a selection of guides and tips for using the site and placing a bet, which is a nice added touch.

With that said, let’s have a closer look at the offering at ComeOn!

Sportsbook

ComeOn offers betting on a wide variety of sports, and most importantly has its cricket offering front and centre for its Indian players.

There are various options when it comes to betting on cricket at ComeOn, from simple match betting to series winner bets, outright winner bets or tied match betting. Alternatively, bettors can focus on higher stake bets on individual cricketers.
In addition to cricket betting, ComeOn also offers a variety of other popular sports – and some more niche options, including football, cycling, tennis, golf, boxing and swimming. Additionally, the site hosts some of the more innovative verticals such as betting on esports and virtual sports, which is always great to see.

The sportsbook landing page itself has a fairly standard layout – sports and popular searches on the left, promotions and upcoming/ongoing events in the centre, and the players’ bet slip to the right.

At the end of the page, users will find a helpful section with all of the need-to-know information about sports betting, including bet types and tips. This is a nice touch that demonstrates ComeOn’s customer-first approach.

There’s also the live betting tab which is worth mentioning, which is basically just a more streamlined and focused sportsbook page for players wanting to just come on the site and go straight to in-play.

The sportsbook is yet another strength for ComeOn, especially with its close attention to cricket for Indian players.

Cricket

It should come as no surprise that ComeOn has placed cricket front and center for its Indian players, and we’re more than happy to report they’ve put in the effort to ensure the offering is exciting and competitive.

With a variety of bet types on offer, Indian players have a fantastic selection of international and local matches to choose from – whether it’s the familiar IPL games or bets further afield on the New Zealand Super Smash, the England & Wales County Championship or the Big Bash League.

Plus, ComeOn’s betting tips are extensive and well presented on the cricket hub page on the site, so newer bettors or those looking for a refresher are just a click away.

Football

The next most exciting offering for our Indian players will naturally be football, one of the most internationally beloved sports. This of course, also makes the sport a very competitive offering in the betting world.

Whether you’re looking for the more basic wagers or something a bit more challenging, ComeOn has accounted for all types of bettors in its sportsbook. There are a large number of football tournaments all over the place throughout the year to bet on at ComeOn, whether it’s Indian football or some of the popular European leagues like the English Premier League or La Liga.

Customer Support at ComeOn

We’re almost at the end of our review for today, but first, we’ll take a look at how ComeOn treats its players in terms of customer service and responsible gambling!

Players at ComeOn have two options for speaking with the team – chat and email, available from 10 AM to 9 PM CET.
Players can access the support services by clicking on the ‘support’ tab in the top-right of the site, and from there leave the team a message or select live chat. ComeOn can also be reached directly at its email address, support-in@comeon.com.

There’s also an extensive FAQ section in the support area, and the likelihood is that most simple questions a player may have can be answered without the need to speak to staff.

Unfortunately, there’s no phone line available for players at ComeOn, and no Hindi-speaking representatives, either. We’ve spoken to someone at ComeOn, who has assured us that this is on the development plan.

Responsible Gambling

A trustworthy and authentic site, regardless of its regulatory requirements, should want to protect its players, and will often, therefore, upkeep a support area on its website to inform and educate users – and users’ loved ones – of the risks of gambling and the safeguards available.

ComeOn can count itself among these top-notch sites, providing a detailed section describing what problem gambling looks like, which tools the site uses and how to get help.

Among these tools is the risk profile, where data from a users history is collected and presented in order to assess how healthy the players’ habits are – an innovative and positive tool to support the wellbeing of players on ComeOn.

There are also industry-standard limits available, as well as the reality check tool – a reminder during sessions of how long a player has been online, and what their win/loss ratio has been.

Sometimes, there’s just nothing that’ll quite scratch your betting itch as well as an established site, and ComeOn is a prime example of prestige in action.

Today, we’ll be deep-diving into the offering at ComeOn, the established European online casino and betting site that is only growing in popularity in India.

Launched in Stockholm in 2010, ComeOn offers both sportsbook and online casino, and is now based in Malta alongside many of the industry leaders, giving them access to the best and brightest talents in the online casino industry.

ComeOn’s site offers everything from slots to live casino and sports betting, all of which are underpinned by a strategy that prioritises simple, clear and fun betting experiences for ComeOn players.

The result of this is a sophisticated site stacked with the best games and odds on the market and a consistently updated offering that aims to compete with the best.

Plus, ComeOn has a fantastic approach to player experience, meaning as well as its modern platform and well-rounded offering, there is also a great selection of regular promotions, strong handling of safety and security and a helpful customer services team.

Arriving on the site, players will be greeted with a well-organised tiled homepage, underpinned with a stylish black and lime green colour scheme.

Let’s take a quick look at the legal information for ComeOn, first and foremost. ComeOn is operated by Co-Gaming Limited, a company registered under the laws of Malta. It has registration number C47444, with its registered address at 3rd Floor, Spinola Park, Triq Mikiel Ang Borg, St. Julians, SPK1000, Malta. Co-Gaming Limited is regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) of Malta under the license number MGA/CRP/178/2009.

So, with that said and done, come on – what are you waiting for? Let’s start today’s review!

Is ComeOn safe?

One of the best things about betting with a brand with a strong industry reputation, like ComeOn, is that there is an abundance of resources that can be used to determine the site’s safety.

As we noted in the introduction, ComeOn is regulated by the MGA, and as such is held to high standards of security and safety provision. The brand also previously held a GB Gambling commission license, one of the most sought-after licenses in Europe. There’s no need to panic about the use of past tense, though – ComeOn made an executive decision to withdraw their license on account of Brexit.

In order to meet these standards, ComeOn applies a number of technologies to its site to protect players, such as Rapid SSL (secure socket layer) and TLS (transport layer security) encryption technology.

As ComeOn is a more established brand than some of our other recent reviews, we can also look to player feedback to understand the safety, security and reliability of ComeOn. Naturally, there are some complaints out there, most of which around long payout wait times, which can be expected. However, overall the site is positively regarded by its players.
With this information to hand, we’d say that we’re convinced that the site is legitimate.

ComeOn Deposit and Withdrawals

Next up, let’s look at how ComeOn approaches payments and withdrawals. This is an area where ComeOn has some real highs and lows, so buckle in and wait till you’ve got the full picture before coming to any conclusions.

First, let’s take a look at some of the positives. Most importantly, ComeOn accepts INR, which means Indian players won’t face costly conversion fees.

The payment method selection is also pretty well-rounded, allowing Indian players to use most of the popular methods such as VISA, Mastercard, Trustly, Neteller and Skrill.

Unfortunately, there’s no UPI or Netbanking, but most of the time e-wallets are the fastest and easiest option, so we can understand why ComeOn’s priority was in offering these internationally appealing options instead of the more localised methods.

Now, let’s move on to the cons of betting with ComeOn. The major thing working against the brand in our review is its unnecessary fees.

Before we explain these fees further we have to outline another con, which is that while the site accepts INR, everything on the site is calculated in Euros, meaning players will need to calculate the conversions and limits themselves.

Below is a list of all of the minimums, maximums fees associated with the different payment options.

  • Deposits:
    • VISA and Mastercard = Min. €10 & Max. €3000 + 0-2.5% fee*
    • Trustly = Min. €10 & Max. €10.000 + 0% fee
    • Neteller = Min. €10 & Max. €10.000 + 5% fee
    • Skrill = Min. €10 & Max. €10.000 + 5% fee

*Fees vary according to the amount deposited: €0 – €250: 2.5%; €251 – €1000: 0%

  • Withdrawals
    • Visa and MasterCard = Min. €20 & Max. €4000
    • Trustly = Min. €20 & Max. €10.000
    • Neteller = Min. €40 & Max. €1500
    • Skrill = Min. €40 & Max. €10.000

Players can withdraw from ComeOn for free two times in any 30-day cycle, after which point all withdrawal methods will incur a €5 fee. Withdrawals take 24 hours, and before a player can withdraw for the first time, they must submit identification documents so that ComeOn is in compliance with KYC (know your customer) and AML (anti-money laundering) guidelines.

The way that fees are set up at ComeOn does leave a bit of a sour taste in our mouths and isn’t something we expect from modern and established sites operating in the Indian market. We hope that they’ll scrap these in future.

ComeOn Welcome Bonus

If you’re a new player on ComeOn’s site, you’re eligible for its welcome bonus. Welcome bonuses form a key part of the decision-making process for new players, and you’ll rarely find an online betting site without an exciting welcoming offer these days.

ComeOn is no stranger to this rule, offering its new players a 100% bonus up to ₹10,000 on the casino and a 100% bonus up to ₹2,500 on the sportsbook.

Of course, these bonuses don’t come without conditions. We’ve done our best to highlight the most crucial pieces of information below, but as always we recommend new users read the terms and conditions at ComeOn for themselves.

New players can choose one of these two offers, provided they are over 18, and the minimum deposit for both is ₹1,000.

As you can expect of any online casino, there are always going to be wagering requirements that need to be met to prevent bonus abuse. However, these are a little steep at ComeOn – 34x wagering on casino games and 8x wagering with minimum odds of 1.75 on sports.

Players have 30 days from the activation date to meet the wagering requirements, and contributions will only count when made from their chosen vertical.

The casino bonus can also be used on live casino, contributing 10% to the wagering requirement, however, roulette and table games do not contribute at all. The maximum bet allowed when using a bonus balance is ₹400 per spin or hand.

For the sports bonus, each way bets or bets placed on Asian Handicap are excluded.

Overall, we’d say that while the bonuses themselves are fairly consistent with what we’d expect, the wagering requirements, in particular for sports betting, are a little higher than we’d like. ComeOn has lowered these slightly in recent times, but if a player were to claim the full bonus, they would still need to be a pretty high roller to make the cut.

Other promotion

In addition to the welcome bonuses, there is a selection of regular bonuses on offer at ComeOn, which can be found on the promotions page.

As of writing, these include daily jackpots up to ₹40,00,000, weekly Friday giveaways of a ₹2500 Amazon voucher and cashback Fridays!

It can be easy to miss, but also make sure to check out the promotions section in the sportsbook, where sportsbook-specific offers are housed!

There are also industry-standard limits available, as well as the reality check tool – a reminder during sessions of how long a player has been online, and what their win/loss ratio has been.

Conclusion

Having taken a long hard look at the offering at ComeOn, we’re able to say that it’s certainly an exciting proposition for our Indian players.

It’s not without fault, of course – those steep wagering requirements and unnecessary fees do give us pause in our recommendation, however, we felt that overall, the offering is very strong.

The selection of games and sports betting opportunities are strong enough to give players a well-rounded and varied set of options on the site, for one thing, and the regular bonuses will keep them coming back for more.
Plus, the site is very well organised and stylish, keeping the experience simple and sleek for its players and providing consistent, easy access to top-notch games.

The sportsbook, in particular, stands out as a real strength for ComeOn, and we’re glad to see that the focus has remained on attending to Indian players’ needs, especially when it comes to cricket.

If anything, all the elements that ComeOn lacks would fall into the bracket of attention-to-detail. This tends to be the first thing that slips when a brand is as far-reaching and established as ComeOn, but if they wanted to hit the sweet spot for our Indian players, removing the fees and improving certain oversights would elevate the offering to thee next level.
Overall, ComeOn is a vibrant and exciting casino and betting site, using its years of experience in the industry and access to the best suppliers and providers around to create a fully-loaded offering. With that, we’d say this is a fantastic option for Indian players wanting a full package site to bet on.
